Class of 1993 Survey
I love surveys, especially the random information you can find out about people from them. Here’s a survey I stole from Gretchen on MySpace about high school.
1. Who was your best friend?
We had a big group who all hung out together. Jeff, Natascha, and Don were my closest, followed closely by Marcus, Branden, Dave, Becky, Becah, Christian, Veysey, Gretchen, Daniela and others. Denny’s!
2. What sports did you play?
Heh. You funny.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
My dad’s Acura Integra. That thing was awesome.
4. On a Friday night what were you doing?
Driving from one Denny’s in Leominster to the other Denny’s in Nashua.
5. Were you a party animal?
I wish! Too lame for that, unfortunately.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
I wish! None of the guys ever looked at me that way. I was the buddy.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
No.
8. Were you a nerd?
Wicked. AP classes and honors physics.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
No.
10. Can you still sing the fight song?
Did we have one?
11. Who was your favorite teacher?
Mrs. Tornikoski.
12. Where did you sit during lunch?
At a table with the drama club kids.
13. Name the school full name?
North Middlesex Regional High School.
14. School mascot?
The Patriots.
15. School colors?
Red and White.
16. Rival high school?
Acton-Boxborough? I don’t know.
17. Did you go to Prom?
Yes, with Jeff.
18. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
No, but not because of high school.
19. What do you remember most about graduation?
They arranged us by height, with shortest first. I was the shortest person in school! I had to wait for 45 minutes with the sun in my eyes for all you tall people to file in behind me.
20. Where did you go for Senior Skip Day?
Oh, I don’t think my dad let me skip that day.
21. Favorite memory?
Play rehearsal, driving around in Don’s pretty pretty rustmobile.
22. Were you in any clubs?
Okay, seriously I was a total geek. I was editor of the literary magazine, in drama club, and I was in the puppet club where we did puppet shows about drugs and stuff like that for little kids in the local elementary schools. I was also a member of the National Honor Society. Geek + Nerd = Not Popular. Hee.
23. Where did you go most often for lunch?
We weren’t allowed to leave school for lunch, so the cafeteria.
24. Have you gained some weight since then?
Yes, a lot after college, then lost a bunch of it, now am generally in better shape than I was in high school despite weighing about 10 lbs more. Back then my favorite food were Cheetos and exercise = sitting.
25. Who was your Senior prom date?
Jeff Ferguson.
26. Are you planning on going to your 10-year?
It already happened and yes, I went. We had a blast.
27. Who was your home room teacher?
Miss Burke. Loved her!

29. Who was your high school sweetheart?
I didn’t date at all in high school. Have you not seen the above responses?
30. Do you still talk to people from high school?
Talking is so ’90s. I’m in email contact with most of the above group.

I was a nanny for a family friend, and I babysat.
